JOHN BELL & CROYDEN - LOYALTY MEMBERSHIP TERMS & CONDITIONS 

 

1 INTRODUCTION  

1.1 Welcome to the loyalty programme of John Bell & Croydenby becoming a member you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. 

1.2 Membership is by invitation only is free of charge, and no purchase is necessary to become a member.  

1.3 By becoming a member of the Loyalty Programme you will be able to benefit from a specified discount percentage both in-store and online as indicated as part of your membership sign upWhen shopping online as a member, we may give you a tailor-made experience which may include unique personalised offers and recommendations.

MEMBERSHIP 

2.1 The membership is limited to individuals that are acting in a personal capacity and not in the capacity of a company, those who have a current and valid email account and are considered an adult by local legislation in the applicable province or country of residenceJohn Bell & Croyden reserves the right to request written confirmation of such consent. Families & Friends of employees, officers, directors, agents and representatives of John Bell & Croyden, or Bestway Healthcare Group are eligible for membership but may be excluded from certain promotions. 

2.2 Membership is for UK residents only. 

2.3 By submitting your application, you confirm that you are of at least the age to be considered an adult by local legislation in your country or territory of residence, and that you agree to these Terms and Conditions. 

2.4 Your membership is personal, non-transferable and subject to these Terms and Conditions as well as any other rules, regulations, policies, and procedures adopted by John Bell & Croyden as approved by you upon taking part of offers, rewards, making purchases and other related services. We apply a limit of one membership per person and registered email address.   

2.5 Only invited companies, groups, associations or other entities, are eligible for a partner membership. Partner memberships will still require the same level of detail for those individuals within each group as per the Individual memberships.  Those making commercial or bulk purchases are not eligible for membership. The membership may not be used for reselling or profit.  

2.6 It is your responsibility, and a condition for your membership, to keep your email address and contact details up to date. 

2.7 The date when you become a member will constitute the “Start Date” of each Membership Period. The “Membership Period” is the 24 months following the Start Date of each year. At the end of a Membership Period you will need re-apply for continued use of your membership benefits. If you during the Membership Year do not use your card/discount code either in-store or online within six months, your membership to the John Bell & Croyden Loyalty programme will be revoked. You will then need to reapply to be added to the program. 

2.8 Membership to the John Bell & Croyden Loyalty programme is on an invitation only basis. Individuals may be recommended either internally or via any partnerships.  

2.9 Membership cards must be presented when shopping in-store. To prevent any inconvenience to you or other shoppers please have your card ready when paying at our cash desks in-store. We cannot process a discount without the membership card present. 

2.10 The decision of John Bell & Croyden is final and may not be influenced by cash, gifts or any other items of monetary value. 

 

3 CHANGES, TERMINATION AND/OR REMOVAL FROM JOHN BELL & CROYDEN’S LOYALTY PROGRAM  

3.1 You may cancel your membership at any time by contacting our Customer Service. Please note that by cancelling your membership you will no longer be able to use your discount code when shopping online. 

3.2 If you cancel your membership, any relevant membership card will no longer be valid for use in-store 

3.3 JOHN BELL & CROYDEN may, at its sole discretion, terminate, alter, limit, suspend or modify the Loyalty Programme, and/or the Terms and Conditions at any time, in case of changes to applicable laws, changes in services provided by JOHN BELL & CROYDEN or introducing new services. Any such change will take effect after 14 days from the date on which you have been informed of such change either on johnbellcroyden.co.uk, via mail or a combination thereof. If you do not accept the changes you have the right to cancel your membership.  

3.4 JOHN BELL & CROYDEN reserves the right to make minor changes to the Loyalty programme and its Terms and Conditions without providing you with prior notification, provided that these changes do not materially affect the membership in a negative way. Please make sure to stay updated on the Terms and Conditions. You will always find the latest version of the Terms and Conditions on johnbellcroyden.co.uk. 

3.5 Any proven abuse of the Loyalty Programme, proven or reasonably assumed fraud, failure to follow the Terms and Conditions, membership inactivity, any misrepresentation or any conduct detrimental to the interests of JOHN BELL & CROYDEN may subject you to membership revocation and will affect eligibility for further participation in the Loyalty Program. If your membership is revoked, any benefits will automatically expire. 

 

4 LIMITATION OF LIABILITY  

4.1 JOHN BELL & CROYDEN will not be liable for any system failure or malfunction of the Loyalty Programme or any consequences thereof. JOHN BELL & CROYDEN accepts no liability for any loss or damages arising from suspension, variation or termination or in any other way relating to the Loyalty Program, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law. 

 

5 APPLICABLE LAW AND JURISDICTION

5.1 These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of United Kingdom, without regards to any rules or principles on conflicts of laws. Any dispute, claim or controversy arising from or relating to these Terms and Conditions or your membership shall be resolved by the applicable courts in United Kingdom, unless otherwise stipulated.  

5.2 If you have any claims regarding our Loyalty Programme, and are not able to settle the matter with JOHN BELL & CROYDEN customer service, then you can submit your complaint to the EU’s online dispute resolution platform (the “ODR platform”). The ODR platform offers consumers and traders within the EU with the possibility to try and reach an out-of-court settlement for complaints arising from online purchases. This single entry point is designed to be a user-friendly and interactive website, available in all EU official languages and free of charge. Using the ODR platform the consumer and the trader can find a dispute resolution body and then go through the process of finding a solution to the consumer’s complaint. 5.3 The invalidity or unenforceability of individual contractual provisions shall not affect the validity of the remaining contractual provisions. In such case, the ineffective or unenforceable provision shall be replaced by the parties by an effective or practicable new provision.
