    Tell us about the new Super Hydrating Overnight Mask – what is it about this product that makes it unique?

    What can cause our skin barrier to weaken and how might this have an effect on our skin?

    Daily exposure to environmental aggressors, such as pollution, UV rays or blue light, is known to weaken the skin barrier. Other factors that can cause stress to the skin barrier are over cleansing and exfoliating or using too many actives and high percentages of actives.

    These factors can cause redness, irritation, elasticity and dryness which can potentially accelerate the early signs of ageing.

    Any advice on transitioning from summer to autumn or colder weather routines?

    As we change seasons the skin can become drier and more dehydrated due to the drop in temperature outdoors and the increase in temperature indoors. The skin can feel tight, rough in texture, fine lines and wrinkles may appear and skin may appear red, in particular, across the cheeks. It is important to notice these changes in your skin and adapt your skincare routine. It maybe using a richer moisturiser in the evening, adding a facial oil or facial serum to your routine in the evening.

    Do you have any tips or key ingredients for those tackling redness?

    To help keep redness at bay, use tepid water when cleansing the skin in the morning and evening, avoid direct heat to the area from any portable heater and avoid over exfoliating.

    In the evening it is important that we thoroughly cleanse our skin, to remove daily dirt, grease and impurities from the skin. We recommend double cleansing in the evening to ensure everything has been removed so when we apply our beautiful serums, eye creams and moisturisers, our skin can really absorb these products while we are sleeping and to get the best results.

    We recommend incorporating Super Hydrating Overnight Mask once or twice a week into your skincare routine. After double cleansing, smooth a thin, even layer to your face and neck, avoiding the eyes and lips and leave to absorb overnight. In the morning, cleanse the skin as normal to remove any traces of mask, the skin will appear softer, smoother and soothed.
