The most common type of incontinence is stress incontinence, which happens when the bladder leaks when you cough, laugh, sneeze, or exercise. Stress incontinence often occurs in women who have had children.

Pads and pants are the two most common incontinence products. Pads are used to absorb leakage from light to moderate urinary incontinence while pants are used for heavy urinary incontinence.
