Calendula
Calendula officinalis, otherwise known as pot marigold, is commonly used in cosmetic and personal care. Calendula plays an important role as a skin conditioning agent, especially by lightening discomfort and providing a calming sensation. Calendula flower extract also functions as a fragrance ingredient.
Calendula is considered to have antifungal, anti-inflammatory, and antibacterial properties which might make it useful in healing wounds, soothing eczema, and relieving diaper rash.
