- Lemon essential oil is zesty, sharp and bright with a clean aroma. All citrus fruits originate in China, but lemons are now grown throughout Southern Europe, North West America and the Middle East. The average Lemon tree, if grown in a warm enough climate, will continually produce fruit all year.
- It takes 1,000 whole lemons to yield just 650g of essential oil. It is ideal in massage blends (in a carrier oil) to stimulate and help detox the lymphatic system and improve circulation.
- In a diffuser, it is used to uplift the emotions and feelings of anxiety, depression as the zesty aromas are reminiscent of summer. Lemon is bright, sharp and zesty and blends well with Eucalyptus, Frankincense, Geranium, Peppermint, Sandalwood, and Ylang Ylang.
