We sat down with Manifesto, a newly launched nutritional supplement brand redefining midlife wellness. In our conversation, we explore the brand’s mission, the power of its carefully chosen ingredients, and why Manifesto is here to change the way we think about aging.

    What is Manifesto’s main mission as a nutritional supplement brand?

    Manifesto is a declaration of midlife wellness - luxuriously tasty vegan gummies crafted with science-backed vitamins, essential minerals, superfoods, and botanicals. Designed for midlife health, nutritionist-developed, and sustainably packaged—powerful benefits with every bite.

    How does the brand aim to support women during midlife transitions?

    The brand was born out of founder Anna Marcovici’s experience of symptoms of perimenopause that blindsided her in her late thirties. Despite leading a healthy and clean eating lifestyle, she experienced a whole host of symptoms that she put down to the stress of balancing a demanding corporate career with raising a young family. Higher levels of stress, sleep issues, hair loss, anxiety, brain fog, night sweats, IBS, joint & muscle pain – they all made an appearance at one point or another until she realised that she had to step up her wellness regime and supplements to support her. Every woman experiences the midlife transition differently and they also vary within the same person and so our supplements are more needs based rather than broad brush.

    Additionally, we are also committed to avoiding toxic language associated with ageing – such as “anti-aging” or “combating the visible signs of aging” etc. We’re not going to war for you, we will gently accompany you on your wellness journey.

    How can the ingredients you chose help with better aging

    Well aging will happen, no matter what, but we want to do it well, so we are very thoughtful with our choice of ingredients. Our gummies are mostly sweetened with Inulin, which is also a pre-biotic and contributes 2.1g of fibre per 2 gummies per day. Astaxanthin, which is our star ingredient in Beauty is a super ingredient that comes from a micro-algae and is a powerful antioxidant and anti-inflammatory and is scientifically proven to be neuroprotective, cardioprotective, with benefits on skin health such as the prevention of skin photo-aging.

    Biotin is especially helpful with brittle nails and supports healthy hair growth.

    Antioxidants are a powerful ally in preventing inflammation, oxidative stress and slow the photo-aging of the skin.

    Ashwagandha KSM 66, our star ingredient in Serene is scientifically proven to significantly reduce anxiety and stress levels whilst Vegan Vitamin D3 (from Lichen) supports a more even mood and stronger bones.

    What makes gummy supplements an effective way to deliver nutrients compared to pills or powders?

    Well as a start they are convenient and a yummy treat to take, so people are more likely to stay consistent with their supplementation regime, which is key to achieving their wellness goals. Some studies suggest that because the gummies are chewed rather than swallowed the nutrients are more bioavailable.

    What message do you hope to send to women about embracing aging and wellness?

    I am surrounded by incredible inspirational women that are 40+ that are not afraid to take up the space they deserve. They lean into their creative feminine power and they radiate positive energy. Embracing every phase of life doesn’t mean we can’t pursue aging well, and indeed how we look after ourselves in our 40’s and 50’s will have a significant impact on how we experience the later years.
