Atopic eczema, also referred to as atopic dermatitis, affects mainly children, it's when the skin becomes dry, itchy and cracked. Contact eczema which is triggered by something to make it flare up, and is characterised by a rash. Dyshidrotic eczema, which is more rare, is when small blisters appear on the palm of the hands and soles. Neurodermitis eczema is characterised by 1 or 2 small dry patches on the nape of neck/arm or leg and are extremely itchy. Seborrheic eczema on your body in areas that have a lot of oil glands, and is commonly called dandruff when it is found in the hair. Stasis dermatitis is most common in people with poor blood flow and is found mainly in the lower legs.
