It was time to replace my hot water bottle that had served me well for over 13 years, so decided to do some research to find another quality German made bottle. I had not heard of Hugo Frosch before, but was persuaded by the rave reviews and the brand's use of plant based materials and connection to nature. I could not resist the cuddly tartan cover on this website, and am delighted by the excellent customer service and caring response when my local Post Office refused to accept my ID documents to release my parcel. John Bell & Croyden immediately sent a replacement parcel to my home address and arranged a return from the Post Office. I was both deeply touched and surprised by such a kind gesture, which is a rare experience these days.
I am absolutely delighted with my Hugo Frosch hot water bottle. It is beautifully made, totally leak proof and the plant based thermoplastic smells divine, of vanilla. !t is harder than a rubber bottle but does soften a little when filled with hot water. And as a bonus, the zipped cover is very practical for opening to warm cold hands inside the cover!
