Have you been overindulging and feeling under par? Do you need something to perk you up again?
Best British Bitters is a traditional pick-me-up herbal digestif.
Very helpful to aid digestion after overindulgence in alcohol, rich or spicy food, shellfish and other minor digestive challenges or to support your stringent detox reboot.
Taken as an aperitif before a meal, bitters help to stimulate the appetite, getting saliva and bile flowing to improve digestion.
Highly concentrated, one bottle provides about 20 servings.
Extracts such as tinctures or essences offer a convenient alternative to herbal teas. Many are used in food, food supplements, cosmetics and as an ingredient by herbalists in prescription formulas.
Adults: Take a 5ml teaspoon, 3 times a day in a little water, unless otherwise told by a qualified herbal medicine practitioner. Do not exceed the stated dose.
Contains extracts of: Silybum marianum (Milk Thistle Seed), Taraxacum officinalis (Dandelion Root), Mentha piperita (Peppermint) leaf, Filipendula ulmaria (Meadowsweet), Betula pendula (Birch) leaf, Gentiana lutea (Yellow Gentian Root), Zingiber officinale radix (Ginger Root). Extracts are tinctures made with ethanol (beet alcohol) and water.
Contains alcohol. Not all herbs are suitable in pregnancy, breastfeeding or for young children, or if you are unwell, or taking any medication. If in doubt, please ask us, your medical herbalist or healthcare practitioner. This product is not intended for use by a person under the age of 18. Do not exceed daily recommended dose. Food supplements should not be used as a substitute for a varied diet.
