A herbal food supplement
A soothing syrup for throat and chest, made from Thyme & Liquorice root.
Our syrup is a herby tasting extract made from thyme herb and liquorice root in a sugar base that can be used to mix into drinks, for baking or just sucked off the spoon. Excellent as a hot toddy, added to warm water, in the winter months.
Thyme is reputed to be antibacterial and antiviral but is primarily known as a culinary kitchen herb. Liquorice root is a tasty adaptogen often also made into liquorice root sweets.
Adults: Take a 5ml teaspoon, 3 times a day in a little water, unless otherwise told by a qualified herbal medicine practitioner. Do not exceed the stated dose.
Aqua (water), Thymus vulgaris (Thyme) herb, Glycyrrhiza glabra (liquorice) root, sucrose (sugar).
Contains liquorice people suffering from hypertension should avoid excessive consumption. Not all herbs are suitable in pregnancy, breastfeeding or for young children, or if you are unwell, or taking any medication. If in doubt, please ask us, your medical herbalist or healthcare practitioner. Do not exceed daily recommended dose. Food supplements should not be used as a substitute for a varied diet.

Store in a cool dry place away from direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children.
