Our research starts with the proteome, the network of proteins that gives skin its structure and resilience, and this serum was developed from it. Rather than relying on a single hero peptide, the formula brings together several peptide technologies, each chosen for a defined role: Mini-Proteins®, peptide-inspired molecules that mimic the signalling involved in maintaining the skin's protein network; protein-folding peptides, for the structure of the proteins and not simply the quantity; matrix peptides, for the appearance of firmness and density; and refined Centella fractions, for renewal over time.
In independent laboratory testing on human skin samples exposed to UV-A and pollution, samples treated with this formula showed lower levels of oxidatively damaged protein, and higher Collagen I levels, than untreated samples. Collagen I is a structural protein that contributes to how firm and resilient skin looks. These are measurements on excised human skin under laboratory challenge conditions, not a study of people using the product, and not a measure of how skin looks. Data on file.
