1. Wash hands thoroughly. Remove tampon from its wrapper.
2. Hold the tampon at the base with clean fingers, string hanging down.
3. Stand, sit or squat in a comfortable position and relax your body.
4. Using your index finger, gently guide the tampon into your vaginal opening at a slight upward angle until it feels snug and comfortable.
5. Change every 4-8 hours. To remove, gently pull the string. Wrap used tampon in tissue and dispose in the bin. Do not flush.

Toxic Shock Syndrome (TSS) Warning: TSS is a rare but serious and potentially life-threatening condition caused by bacterial toxins. To reduce risk: use the lowest absorbency necessary for your flow; change your tampon every 3-4 hours; do not use tampons overnight. Consult your doctor before using tampons if TSS warning signs have occurred in the past. Do not flush - wrap used product in tissue and dispose of in the bin.
