Description
- Patchouli essential oil has a woody and musky aroma, earthy and smoky as it evaporates. It is a perennial herb, native to tropical regions of Asia. In order to create essential oil, a steam distillation process is used. This extracts the oil from tiny pockets of liquid held on minuscule hairs, across the leaves of the plant.
- It is ideal in massage blends (in a carrier oil) to help moisturize very dry or tired and helps with damaged or eczema-prone skin. In a diffuser, Patchouli’s deep, earthy fragrance will help to bring peace of mind, grounding the user and bringing a sense of inner calm. Patchouli is woody, musky and earthy and blends well with Floral fragrances (Ylang Ylang, Rose Otto & Rose Absolute, Jasmine, Palmarosa) and Citrus fragrances (Sweet Orange, Bergamot & Neroli).
