Turmeric

Turmeric, a plant in the ginger family, is native to Southeast Asia and is grown primarily in India. Turmeric is a common spice that comes from the root of Curcuma longa. Curcumin is the main active ingredient in turmeric.

Turmeric has powerful anti-inflammatory effects and is a very strong antioxidant. Turmeric has antibacterial, antiviral, antifungal, antioxidant, and anticancer activities and also has a potential to reduce the risk of various malignant disease, arthritis, Alzheimer’s disease, and other chronic illness including rheumatoid arthritis.
